DCSP is a soccer performance and soccer skills development training service based in San Antonio, Texas. 
With a primary focus on player technical improvement and individual growth, as well as integrating basic to advanced motor functions for our trainees, we have blossomed over the years, helping to structure and develop players of all ages and all levels across the country.

We ensure our players thrive in a fun and competitive environment, challenging them to expand and improve on their current skill sets, speed, and productivity.

Our training is focused on complete motor function and technical ball mastery while strengthening your love and passion for the beautiful game with an expansion of the very fundamentals of soccer.

Our overall goal is to build on those very fundamentals, add layers of technical excellence to your game, teach you the correct methods, techniques, and tactical understanding to raise the level of your game, expand your knowledge, and prepare you for the next level.

TECHNICAL EVOLUTION | Our core fundamentals

The essential tenet and idea of our coaching is to layer by layer develop, advance, and broaden a player's technical competence and individual footprint in the game.

We have all experienced playing against young and older opponents who were quick, technical, powerful, and aggressive. When it comes to a players dynamic  technical skill, ball mastery, power, and total body control, the majority of high-level developmental programs, professional academies, and ultimately competitive soccer, always have obvious technical disparities, we work to enhance your levels across the board.

No matter the player's age, when they start working with us, we make it our top priority to improve their technical understanding and ball mastery, not only with the ball but also with total body control, giving them the confidence to do whatever they want, whenever they want on the field—something that is far too frequently disregarded. Only later in an athlete's growth do technical skills, or lack thereof, really stand out, with physical traits typically being the primary focus at a younger age, to the cost of the athlete's overall progression.

What is Ball Mastery?

Repetition of technical routines and skill sets in a tight amount of space, allowing the trainee an extreme amount of touches on the ball in a relatively short space of time.

ELITE FOOTWORK | Functional Feet

With a core focus on complete body control,  improving the players dynamic footwork /  movement, ball mastery and explosive direction / redirection.

What is Elite Footwork?

With a focus on manipulating the ball at high speed with both feet, creating angles of attack and defense, and applying game-day scenarios positionally specific to the trainee.

GAME READY | Complete Conditioning

Preparing a player for an upcoming season, tournament or rehabilitation from an injury, our Game Ready program consists of conditioning, ball mastery, resistance training and execution.

WHY CHOOSE DCSP | What makes us different

With multiple trainers, camps, and clinics available to parents and athletes alike, what makes us different from everyone else, you ask?

 

Firstly, our focus is solely on improving the athlete, whether that be by building the very foundations and fundamentals of their game, improving or correcting their already formed technique, or expanding their positional or tactical game to correlate to their specific individual or team position(s). Our goal is to make you an overall superior player, no matter your level.

 

Secondly, we are individual-focused training specialists. Single athletes or very small groups have always been a staple of our core philosophy, solely because it enables us to give a personalized approach to our training programs and the sessions themselves. In our opinion, larger groups are mostly less focused on the individual and more on the financial aspects of the game.

WHAT SETS DCSP APART FROM OTHER PRIVATE SOCCER TRAINERS?

Since we became established in 2012, we have maintained our core philosophy and focus on developing and advancing every single trainee that we have worked with. Ball mastery and individual technical expertise are the main areas that we base our sessions around with a clear cut focus on the player and player specific situations.

DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE AND OR/WEAR THE DCSP PERFORMANCE SHIRT?

When training with DCSP, you not only represent our philosophy, our programs and distinguishable technical style, but we also believe that our trainee should be able to represent those methods in and out of the session(s) with something that they are proud to wear and associate with their hard work. Our Performance Shirt is also a physical representation of the commitment we have together, with media on occasions being used for the trainees personal use and/or our own promotional use.

CAN I TRAIN WITH A FRIEND OR PLAYERS FROM MY TEAM?

Yes of course. When booking your session(s) please let us know that you would like a Partner session or a Small Group session with team mates. The other players would need to fill out the media/training waiver and return it either via email or in person at the session itself.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE AND LEVEL OF PLAYERS THAT YOU TRAIN?

Our current U7 age group of players is the youngest (6 years old). The skill level of the player(s) is/are irrelevant at this time, but as our clientele continues to expand, we will raise the base level of our trainees to intermediate (some level of training/a core understanding of the fundamentals or club play would be required).

CAN I BOOK MORE THAN ONE SESSION AT A TIME?

Yes. You can book as many sessions as you would like; you can also block book training sessions of 4 or 8 at a time (or more if needed) that include a discount. We have clients that book for an entire season, keeping the consistency of high-level training throughout the year.
